I think you know what I mean, a varity of communities in one big one...MOOVE
We do something like this with our Groups but talking to a few it seems alot of the groups seem to be diffrent to another yet of the same idea
An exsample is with Gorean, no two Gorean group are ran the same yet all are Gorean, yet if they all got together under one umberella and decide whats what, it would make it a lot easier for new members to understand. Each group ( HomeStone) still can run its own group the way they wish, but still be in the larger group, same as the Vampire, Wolf, D/s all have groups ways yet all are called what they are,
- What is your opion of this?
- Would we need a form of council so others know who to go to to top a lot of this mix up?
- Who would vote who on the council?Or commity or what ever you wish it to be called.
- Have you any ideas to make this work?
Come on Moove lets for a change work together and not try to make it harder for all.

Be it Vamp, D/s, Gorean etc etc.
I can only speak from Gorean view. In that Nobody is more Gorean than the other.
Where the 'difference' might occur is in the protocol and understanding of Gorean Knowledge.
I say this because to understand Gorean ways, the best place to start and learn and to see if Gorean ways are your ways is to read the books.
When I say read them that is what I mean, I don't mean take out the parts the suit your needs at any given time, this will only lead to confusion and argument and the eventual leaving of people who have an interest in Gorean lifestyle.
On my info page I have placed some idea's related to gorean ways, for those who might be curious about the lifestyle.
These are not set in stone as each Gorean runs his own HomeStone accordingly.
What is set in stone is Gorean protocol, this can be seen and learnt, from reading the books.
In an ideal Moove Gor world, what my aim is would be to have a Gorean community, that encompassed everyone, in that there would be some one to ask questions of, be you a Master, FW or kajira.
This would again come back to everyone, reading the books and singing from the same page, so to give a full and truthful answer to any questions that might be raised.
In that Mastrs can learn from Masters, FW from FW and yes kajira from kajira.

ReplyDeleteI have had the privilege of seeing a few sides of different GROUPS and to be honest it took me a long time to really understand each group,
ReplyDeleteD/s I know what it says but what did it mean as to me it was same as BDSM, GOREAN, VAMPIRE ( this was when I was first introduced to them ) and now a life time later I have learnt the difference I have put my self as a new member and looked through new eyes again and yes I can understand how SOME get it all mixed up. And can see the reasoning for the communities, as that way each person can visit each in that group to see the differences and to choose them selfs.
Each one too his or own own is my belief.
ReplyDeletebut what if people leave because they don't want to be associated with a "group" BDSM, Gorean,Vampires or whatever, they just want to make friends have someone to talk to. maybe just do simple things that keep them interested,
is there room for that in this community?

The idea is not to cover just the above, nor is it to accost members or pressure them, its to STOP all the:
ReplyDelete" This guy told me I am his slave " or " I been told to not join certain groups because".
We know this do go on, I my self have had a few new members a bit bewildered about this I take time and explain, and tell them be their own judge, ask questions if they are not sure, the idea of the communities is to that people can see and either stay away or go and ask.
A lot hear different things of different Groups, and are too scared to ASK or ashamed to ask as they think they should know, geeze we all have to learn one day and as I always say we are always learning something to the day we die.
It is not just the above Groups there are loads of different types of Groups, each with their own interpretation of their believes, some are true to what ever it is some are not and just have the bits the person likes. I used the above as those groups seem to have a mixed feeling with loads of different interpretation to them.
